This page explains what information PowerPro Tools & Machinery collects when you use this site — browsing, creating an account, checking out, or chatting with our AI assistant — and how we use it. We collect only what we need to run the store and serve you well, and we don't sell your personal information to anyone.
Account details you give us directly: name, email, and password (stored securely, never in plain text) if you register, or your name and email if you sign in with Google or Facebook. Order details: delivery/pickup address, phone number, and what you ordered — needed to actually fulfill your order. Basic browsing activity: pages and products viewed, searches, and cart activity, tied to an anonymous browser identifier (and to your account if you're signed in) so we can show relevant recommendations and keep our catalog useful. If you use our AI chat assistant, we log how many messages were sent and their length, but not what you actually typed — the assistant reads your message to answer it, but we don't keep a permanent transcript.
To create and manage your account, process and deliver your orders, respond to support questions, and improve what we show you (search results, recommendations, and stock/pricing accuracy). Order details (name, phone, address) are used only to get your order to you — never for marketing you haven't agreed to.
We don't process card payments — we accept cash/mobile wallet (KBZPay, Wave Pay, etc.) collected in person, and bank transfer, where you send payment to one of our listed accounts and upload a receipt. Either way, payment is arranged and confirmed directly with our staff, and we never see or store your card, bank login, or mobile wallet credentials on our own systems.
If you choose "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Facebook," that provider shares your name and email address with us (nothing more, and only after you approve it on their own screen) so we can create or sign you into your PowerPro account. We don't post to your Google or Facebook account or access anything else on it.
We use a small number of cookies to make the site work: one that keeps you signed in, one that remembers your chosen language, and an anonymous browsing identifier (not tied to your name unless you're signed in) used for the recommendations and stock-relevance features mentioned above. We don't use these for third-party advertising.
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that need it to actually run the store — our hosting/database and email providers, and UploadThing (which stores the bank-transfer receipt files you or our staff upload) — and only to the extent each one needs to do its job.
We keep account and order information for as long as your account is active (and afterward only as needed for legitimate business or legal reasons, like order records). You can ask us to update your account details yourself from your account page, or contact us to ask what information we hold about you, correct it, or request it be deleted.
We may update this policy occasionally as our store or the services we use change. The version posted here is always the current one.
